If you’re looking for a concreter you can actually trust, read this first. After hearing too many horror stories about tradies cutting corners, we knew we needed someone reliable, experienced, and professional to do our driveway. We were introduced to Terry from Achilles Concreting through a close friend of ours, Shane—a prestige builder who’s worked with Terry for years. That connection alone gave us peace of mind. From the moment Terry showed up, we could tell he was the real deal. He’s been doing concreting since he was 18 and brings over 40 years of experience to the table. His quote wasn’t just a number—it was detailed, thorough, and showed just how much he knows his craft. (My mother’s partner is a concrete truck driver, so I knew what to look for. Terry passed with flying colours.) We did get two quotes—one cheaper, and one from Terry. We went with Terry because his approach was old-school professional. The kind of no-nonsense reliability that’s rare to find these days. Terry and his team at Achilles Concreting were punctual, respectful, and delivered exactly what they promised. They even gave us valuable advice along the way. The workmanship was top notch and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. 👉 If you’re after a job done right the first time—with no shortcuts, no surprises, and genuine professionalism—Achilles Concreting is the only name you need. You get what you pay for, and with Terry, you're investing in quality that lasts. Highly recommend. Would use them again without hesitation.

Achilles have just completed the replacing of our old driveway. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result! Owner, Terry, is a nice, friendly chap to deal with, as are his workmen, Mick and Jack. All concerned were great to have on-site. They took on-board our opinions and needs, wanting the new driveway to be moved over to centralise our tree-lined drive. At every stage they kept us in the loop. We are bowled-over with the high-quality finished result. We have had positive comments from family, friends, neighbours and even passing members of the community, saying just how much it has enhanced the curb-appeal of our home. I can only but highly recommend Achilles Concreting, for any concreting needs. Thanks, Chaps!
