Recently I engaged Electrodry (via the Wollongong Branch) to dry clean the carpets in four rooms of my home. I had used their services a few years ago - and was happy to do so again. And happily this time around it was exactly the same. The job was conducted on time and discharged perfectly. I recommend this organisation for the service they provide.

I have enlisted Electrodry to clean my whole house's carpet and floor tiles. I have a very good experience from start to finish. The office lady was very informative throughout the initial booking process and also provided a follow up booking confirmation call to me on the day before. The technician was very professional and his ability in attention to detail throughout the process was second to none. GREAT JOB!!!! Tile grout came up from black to white, removed most of the stain from the heavy traffic area from an over 25 years carpet. I would recommend their service to anyone. There is only one minor drawback - The company does not have an internet or mobile payment method via eftpos, I have to make payment over the phone.

Had to have a mattress sanitised for warranty inspection. They specifically said Electrodry, so I had my lounge done as well, three seats and two chairs. My son in laws parents are carpet cleaners, and I would have preferred to give them $500. However, the job was done well, the guy was efficient, and it was actually a wet shampoo, not a "blue light" sanitisation as the mattress company had me believe. However, we were able to sleep on the mattress that night (windows open all day, fan on high winter, and air conditioning put on in the evening as well), which of course makes no sense to me as they wanted it sanitised and aren't picking it up until June 6th, but we do have the mattress protector on.

Excellent service including upholstery clean on two suede chairs that would otherwise have been dumped. Markedly better carpet clean than previous cleaner.

Frequently asked questions

How much do carpet cleaners typically charge?
Carpet cleaning costs vary widely depending on the job type, the total area or number of items, stain severity and whether specialist treatments or after‑hours attendance are needed. Most carpet cleaners typically charge a call-out or minimum fee plus an hourly labour rate and materials, with higher rates for after‑hours or specialised work. The live pricing shown on this page reflects local rates and helps you compare providers.
Do carpet cleaners charge call-out fees?
Many carpet cleaners charge a call-out or minimum fee to attend, which is usually separate from labour and materials costs. This fee often covers travel and initial setup, particularly for smaller jobs. Check the live pricing on this page to see whether a provider includes a call-out fee or items it into the total.
What qualifications should I look for in a carpet cleaner?
Carpet cleaning work doesn't typically require a government licence, but you can look for industry credentials such as ACCI, IICRC or CCAWA membership, an active ABN and public liability insurance. These indicators generally suggest the provider has formal training, business registration and insurance cover.
