PBS Carpentry, Maintenance Services & Home Extensions

We had a shared fence replaced and highly recommend these guys to anyone especially if you’re around the north-west area Of Melbourne. We are on a slope so it’s not the easiest place to put up a new Fence however these guys have done a fantastic job at a very reasonable cost. The posts lineup so it’s a straight line as any. i’ve attached some photos but they don’t necessarily paint an accurate picture. You have to see it in person to realise how good their job is.

A couple of years ago, I met Jarlath from PBS Carpentry for the first time as he came and fixed my main apartment door which kept jamming. I was so impressed with his work and his kindness that I knew I had to call on him again to fix my bedroom doorknob as the latch was not going all the way in leaving me no choice but to shoulder barge my way into my own bedroom. Waiting for matters to get worse and run the risk of being trapped in my own room was not an option. Luckily it was Jarlath to the rescue. I purchased a new doorknob from Bunnings and Jarlath installed it. We had some minor complications only because the new doorknob was faulty which I had to return and exchange for a new one. Jarlath was so patient and kind enough and return to my home the very same day to help finish what he started. Jarlath is professional, friendly, kind, patient, focused and a great communicator as he will explain his processes and what actions need to be taken. My partner and I feel very lucky to know we have someone like Jarlath whom we can always rely on. This is the easiest 5-Star review I’ve ever had to make - I would give him 10 stars if only Google would let me.

I was lucky come across PBS after googling and reading good review about this company. Initially, I tried Hipages to engage a tradie to replace my interior doors. Can you believe it? I was scammed by the tradie that I engaged through Hipages. He took the deposit but never started the job. HiPages couldn’t do anything about it as the tradie was deregistered from HiPages. Jarlath responded quickly to my initial inquiry and was easy to deal with. He is very responsive even during the weekend. His team is wonderful. Turned out on time, friendly, reliable as PBS claimed. I will use them again in the future instead of going to go through Hipages as too risky to try Hipages.

Jarlath responded quickly with a quote for our request for 2 new outdoor decks and replacement of a section of weatherboards. Umer and his team were always on time, very professional and did an excellent job!. Would highly recommend them, thanks PBS team.
