  We recently employed Harry to change the weatherboards on our house. We thought that it was only going to be a few weatherboards but it ended up turning into a massive job with about half the house needing new boards. Harry was fantastic. He explained what had happened, he showed us the damage, he gave us two options and his professional opinion of what we should do. He constantly asked us are we happy, he consulted us at all stages of the job and we felt secure in the knowledge that he was doing the best job for us. We ended up changing half the windows in the house too and Harry did that quickly so that we were not having windowless gaps for long periods of time. We also had to take off the front board which had the electricity attached to it and it turned out also to be a major job. Harry found us a great electrician - not all electricians are able to do this type of work and between them they organised the paperwork and submitted it to AGL on our behalf. Harry also organised scaffolding cheaply for us and they delivered it the very next day so we weren't held up at all. I can't recommend Harry highly enough. He did a fabulous job, our house looks fantastic. He is honest, he takes pride in his work and is super organised and will make really good suggestions that helped enormously for people who are not into building etc. He always left our house spotless, sweeping up everything each day and we couldn't be happier with the job he did for us. As a bonus, he fixed the tiles on our roof that were damaged in a storm while he was working here. So, we didn't have to call someone else out. Thanks Harry for all your hard work. PS. If you hire Harry please make sure you give him a coffee and a glass of water. He is such a hard worker that you have to force him to take a break. :)

His communication has been brilliant and he brought up any possible issues as early as possible with workable solutions. I will definitely be contacting him again for our next project.   I have a small backyard and I was not able to use it as much. I had been thinking of doing decking since long. One of my friend recommended Hamid and from Day 1, he was very professional to advice what would best suit our needs. I wanted decking and build a small studio shed. I cannot express how happy I am with what he built. Every step he would ask if I was happy with the work. Hamid is very diligent and hard working. Very easy to deal with. He bought all the right products and the perfect number leaving minimal wastage. After finishing work, he would clean the area leaving no mess around. He went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Hamid.

  Harry did a good job replacing a broken pergola roof sheet, and he also helped me to reattach some security screens back onto my fence. He explained the scope of the work that he was going to do very clearly. Communication with Harry by text and phone were also clear. It was easy to arrange a time with him to do the initial inspection and work (and he was happy to accommodate me to do the job in the weekend). Happy to use his service again.

  Our experience with Melbourne Home Makeover was impressive. Harry and Sam are very professional and knowledgeable, always paid close attention to detail and are patient to explain all of the details before and while the project is underway. Harry and Sam painted our interior walls and doors, repaired the side yard cover and rebuilt a stunning Merbau deck and retaining wall for our garden. We highly recommend Melbourne Home Makeover and will definitely use their services again for any other projects we may need done.
