  Matt Sullivan of Sullivan Building Co is everything you could want in a builder – great technical skills, an excellent team (his own builders and subbies), an amazing communicator and listener and a real “nothing too much trouble” approach. Our project (refurbishment/renovation of kitchen, bathrooms and laundry in our 1990 apartment) was small but complex due to needing to work around the original fabric of the building. Matt really listened to what we wanted to achieve, gave great advice about what was and wasn’t doable and was a outstanding problem solver and trouble shooter along the way. The work is exceptional and we couldn’t be happier. We definitely have no hesitation in recommending Matt.

  Matt replaced our 1st floor timber deck above our garage. His quote was competitively lower than the larger builders and the quality of his work was first class. He explained the job requirements in detail and included completely new waterproofing to the concrete slab and joints (the other quotes suggested only patching the waterproofing). Work was efficiently completed when scheduled and Matt/Lockey were very polite, tidy and very detailed in the construction. I highly recommend them and they will be my preferred choice when we need other building / maintenance works.

  A tradesman of exceptional talent with an eye for detail that is rare in today’s market place. I have worked in the building industry for over 15 years and have encountered all types both good and bad but find Sullivan Building Co to be one of the best I have dealt with. If high end quality and detail is required I would have no question in referring any one to Matt.
