Standfast Maintenance & Construction

We commissioned Matt of Standfast to undertake a very tricky piece of work on our roof trusses. The work he did to strengthen the roof was super impressive – We engaged a structural engineer to design and certify the work and she too thought it was excellent. Given Matt’s impressive skills and carpentry abilities, after the roof rectification, we decided to engage him to undertake other construction projects for us. This included construction of two decks – including one for a new sauna – and re-build of a ground level deck, plus installation of a new property fence. Seeing Matt’s deck construction work compared to the previous builder, there was no literally no comparison. Matt used all the best materials and carpentry techniques including tape to protect the deck joists. It was very level and all very well built. I have no hesitation to recommend Matt and his construction abilities for any small, medium or large and more complex carpentry projects. He’s reliable to his word, communicates well and produces an excellent quality standard in his work. Feel confident in your decision to work with Matt and you’ll be pleased with the outcome.
