Dave and his amazing team did an extensive renovation on our Queenslander and we couldn’t be happier! Our scope included a new kitchen, pantry, bathrooms, changing the floor plan including new walls and relining old walls, external work included new stairs, replacing windows/doors and replacing most of our weatherboards. Pretty much every aspect of house was upgraded or replaced! As first time renovators we were nervous especially given the extensive project we were undertaking. Everything completed by Cardinal Point was executed to a very high standard, on time and on budget! Dave and his insights were invaluable and he happily helped me when I needed advice even when it was outside his scope. David and the team were great to work with throughout our entire building project. David’s patience and problem solving ability was extremely helpful at a highly stressful time. We were very particular in our selections during the design and the build and where things simply didn’t work out as we had expected, largely due to a complex design on a sloping block, David was able to calmly offer solution options to still achieve our goals. David is a good communicator and he consulted with us on works through every stage. The quality of carpentry on the deck and internal stairs resulted in us including even more timber finishes within the home than first anticipated. It was these finishes in selecting and matching internal and external timbers that filled the gap the designer couldn’t. David demonstrated superior attention to detail and his team of trades were reliable offering high quality finishes throughout. We feel very fortunate to have engaged Cardinal Point Building Services to complete our dream home.

Our post WW1 timber cottage alias Ugly Duckling has been turned into a Beautiful Swan by David Billing and his team. We are based in Adelaide and were referred to David by our draughtsman and so, sight unseen we contracted Cardinal Point for an extensive rebuild of our investment property. The place was in a terrible mess having been untouched for nearly 30 years. David and his team worked within budget and on time to transform the house. All the work was explained and photographed to keep us in the loop...David also went the extra mile to assess the restumping before we paid their bill and sorted out an issue with the tile company who had supplied a different tile We used Cardinal’s contracted painter, Aaron who did a superb job and David worked extremely cooperatively with the electrician, plumber, floor sander and kitchen installer we had subcontracted So none of the horror stories about renovating came true! All up it was a great experience working with Cardinal Point Building Services and we would thoroughly recommend David and his team
