Owen Paul was exceptional. 100% professional, fair and flexible with quoting the job according to what we needed for our back deck. Owen and his offsider Simon arrived on time each day, worked hard, were meticulous with their craft and left no detail undone. It was a difficult task to install the deck around our spa, including access trap doors on all four sides, but they did a perfect job. The guy who services our spa said he has never seen a better job and wanted their contact details! They were extremely cheery and pleasant to have around the house - even whistled while they worked 😊. They cleaned up after every day, left nothing at the end of the job, and took great care not to damage anything along the way. I will be using Opal Carpentry again soon for some other jobs around the house. Can’t recommend them more highly.

I'm really happy with the new custom-made pelmets that Owen installed in my apartment unit. They look like they were always in place, which is exactly the effect I was hoping for. Owen delivered exactly what I wanted, and at a fair price. I highly recommend him for any carpentry work. I know he does big projects, but he handled my small one very nicely too. He's reliable and easy to talk to.

Excellent professional work carried out in timely manner. Polite & respectful & updated during work. Would employ Opal again. Work was cleaned up & a revisit due to a query about a broken tile (old) was expertly done & tile replaced. Preventing interior roof damage. All done with a cheerful manner & respect. This business is top notch. Always busy with bookings, but worth the wait for carpentry & guttering.

Owen and Simon did a fantastic job with my new back steps. They were professional, helpful, efficient, friendly and lovely guys and I was so impressed by them that I’m getting them to do some more work in my house. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Love your work guys.
