  This is the second time we have used MK&S Constructions for a project at our place. We discovered a bathroom leak that extended to the deterioration of joists and bearers under the bathroom floor. Steve was great- he gave us a really quick quote and was able to preform the repair works within the same week. We were so happy that we asked him to have a look at the inside of our shower. We had already signed a contract with Megasealed- who had removed the floor times and lower tiles from the wall of the shower. Extensive damage was visible to the framing and Steve quoted for the cost to repair this for us. The wet area of the shower was stripped down to the studs and the damaged wood replaced. Unfortunately one of our trim tiles and upper wall tiles was damaged during demo. The bathroom is old and none of the original tiles are still available for purchase. After some brainstorming we decided to install some shelves and were able to salvage enough tiles to replace the damaged trim and upper wall tile around the shelf to look intentional. This has resulted in a more practical shower and a better result than the originally intended repair. We intend to get Steve back next to demo part of our front porch. I'd be happy to recommend this company to someone in the Penrith area looking for a reliable builder. Communication is excellent, the quote is very competitive (I always get 3 quotes) and the team is trustworthy.
