Jason and the team at KYTEK Joinery were amazing. They installed our new wardrobes and completely renovated both our main bathroom and ensuite. Friendly, professional and the quality of their work was second to none. They helped us with finalising our design ideas and had great suggestions, they were very accommodating of anything that we wanted to include.... even the 160 kg bath we wanted to install! We are so happy with how everything came up. Thanks KYTEK for our beautiful new wardrobes and bathrooms.

Kytek did a great job with our kitchen. An area in the house that we used to avoid because of the way it looked, we now spend so much more time in there because of Jason and Kylan. They took out walls and added a few extra bits on top free of charge and really made us fall in love with our new kitchen. Highly recommend anyone wanting a new kitchen to contact and use Kytek.

Frequently asked questions

How much do carpenters typically charge?
Carpentry costs vary widely depending on the job. Simple trim or door hanging is usually less than internal framing, small outdoor structures or timber repairs that require more labour and materials. Most carpenters charge a call-out fee plus an hourly labour rate, with after-hours work attracting higher rates; this page shows live local pricing to help you compare quotes.
Do carpenters charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and typically cover travel and the initial assessment. These fees are usually charged separately from hourly labour and materials. After-hours attendance is often charged at a higher rate, so confirm any call-out or minimum fees when requesting quotes.
Do carpenters need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Carpentry work is generally required to be carried out by a licensed tradesperson in every Australian state and territory. In NSW, licences are administered by Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). You should expect providers to display a valid state building or trade licence on quotes and advertising, and to hold an ABN, public liability insurance and industry memberships such as HIA or Master Builders.
How do I get a quote from KYTEK Joinery?
