GM Cabinets

We have had a wonderful experience and fabulous result during our recent kitchen renovation with Gerry and the team. From inception nothing was too difficult and during planning Ali and Gerry were able to interpret and assist with forming our vision. Ali has a vast knowledge of products and their applications making the finer details achievable. Come install, we were greeted by a professional team, led by Brad, with the team being a pleasure to have in our home. Again any changes or concerns during the entire process were quickly and efficiently addressed. As we were managing our own renovation, Gerry was able to provide guidance to steps within the process as to timing of other trades. We could not be happier with our new kitchen and highly recommend GM Cabinets and will be utilizing the company for further projects.

The staff at GMCabinets excelled. The right team working in harmony, each with their complimentary skills and personalities made dealing with GMCabinets a pleasure. The team that worked, with me, to bring my kitchen plans to reality were Ali, Rhys, Brad and Gerard. Summary: - Ali -very pleasant, competent and helpful; Rhys-obliging, open to different ideas, and willing to source some individual products ; Brad - Wow, wow, wow - and I mean that as an evaluation of his work ethic, his agility and ability; Gerard -approachable, overtly in the background assisting, his staff, to make sure everything happened smoothly. I was drawn into GMCabinets because of the words, custom made'. I knew exactly what I wanted and that it was a combination of some unusual elements such as two hidden pull-out benches/shelves, quirky hand built pull-out storage towers, akin to large spice racks, with shelves at three different heights and of a width specifically designed to fit certain containers. A plate rack behind glass cabinet doors, 2 wine/soft drink racks, and a second rangehood, were additional, less than usual, features I desired. On my initial approach to GMCabinets I had no intention of following through on that day, but Ali's greeting and outgoing manner had the perfect combination of a sense of willingness to help yet devoid of any pressure, making it a comfortable environment to be in. I felt comfortable returning to show her my 2 year collection of photos, downloaded pictures and written notes. As the process developed, I continued to feel I could contact Ali to convey messages or ask questions. Rhys was equally helpful along the way. He accepted that I had a clear idea of what I wanted and worked with me to bring each element into the plans in the positions I wanted, but also allowing for the regulations regarding the allowable position of the stove. When my choice of cupboard door design, bench laminate, and door handles was outside what they usually accessed it did not deter Rhys. He put the extra effort in to please me, the customer. I particularly liked that he installed a handle in the underneath side of my hidden pull-out shelf, located within what will be the utensils drawer. Such little things make a big difference, as did his obliging manner when I decided to convert some empty space under the bins into a separate additional drawer not originally in my plans. The fact that I felt I could ask for this transformation speaks volumes about the manner Rhys displayed. Due to their manner, I felt comfortable converting my home into a worksite for Brad and the other tradies arranged by GM. They all had the ability to be there in my home without creating any sense of discomfort or personal intrusion. Arriving onsite one day to see Brad amid numerous piles of flat back pieces was momentarily alarming, but sitting quietly and watching from a distance one could soon see Brad had everything totally under control, working with the focus of a master and the agility of an energetic teenager, he had the ability to work swiftly with expertise that again instilled great confidence that it would be a job well done. We had our kitchen done by GM cabinets when they first opened many years ago. It is still all in great condition but have just had a little makeover done with their help and advice. I absolutely love it Thank-you again Gerard, Ali and Brad.

The team at GM cabinets were an absolute pleasure to deal with, especially Rhys. Any and all questions were answered promptly with expertise and patience. Our new kitchen and wardrobes look incredible and the quality of the finish is unmatched. The ability to customise on colour and material, as well as the standard level inclusions such as soft close doors, really accentuate the quality of GM cabinets. On installation, the team led by Brad, were highly efficient and the attention to detail with hinging etc was fantastic. We will be utilising GM Cabinetry for future projects and we recommend you do the same.
