D & L Custom Cabinets

Five stars are not enough! We have just done a major renovation & were so impressed with the whole process from initial consultation to the quote complete with technical drawings & pictures, to the installation, all done in a very professional & friendly manner. Aaron was fabulous to deal with, provided sound advice & was happy to make changes here & there as I changed my mind on a few things. We are very happy with our new kitchen, library bookcase, built in cupboards & a vanity & would highly recommend D & L to anyone wanting a fabulous outcome at a very reasonable price.

From the first visit to Dean's showroom, I knew this was the place of creativity and detail I had been looking for. I had another quote for just a boring island bench, but when I realised that Dean -and his well set up workshop, could design bespoke kitchens, I asked for my deposit back from another kitchen place and switched. I decided to not just replace the dilapidated island bench but the entire kitchen. "Dean, can you do quality marine ply, glue lam edge features, extra height benches, custom pantry, pocket shelving, marine ply feature panels with a mix of high gloss white faces, standard soft close drawers for heavy items, bolt on timber end boxes with some feature LED rebated wash lights?, and can I have a white stone bench top too without a premium because it's white" - NOT A PROBLEM said Dean. All done within my tight budget. Thanks to Dean's expertise, I doubled the storage of the kitchen in almost the same footprint. I have renovated 6 kitchens over the years and this one was the tricky one, it had to have 'wow' factor, extra storage and was in a thoroughfare. Dean and his staff filled the brief way beyond what I could have imagined. A true craftsman worthy of praise as are all the trades he recommends. PS. Dean has the patiences of a saint, is a great communicator and his memory retention of detail is second to none!

Dean and the team just finished up a renovation at my place in Tweed Heads. Bit of a wait and a little hard to get a hold before the start of the project. However, I was in no rush so it suited me fine. The kitchen came up absolutely beautiful and the process was quite fast once they got going. D & L recently completed our new Kitchen and we could not be happier. The quality of work and attention to detail is fantastic. Dealing with Dean was an absolute pleasure from the word go. He is genuine, upfront and very committed to ensuring that the customer remains satisfied throughout the project.
