From the outset, working with Paul and the team at Concept Joinery was an absolute pleasure. It's rare to find craftspeople who truly listen to your vision and execute it with such impeccable attention to detail. The recreation of our early 1960s original kitchen was not just a project for us, it was a nostalgic journey, and Paul's passion and expertise in period detail and concept ensured that it was brought to life just as we’d hoped. The kitchen is not merely a functional space but a one-off, bespoke tribute to early 1960s design, from the cabinet structures, hand painted finish, hinges, and handles, along with colour and flooring choices. The period charm is captured so authentically that stepping through the door is like a time-travel experience, and yet it doesn’t compromise on modern luxury and convenience. Paul has a dedicated trades team who were efficient, courteous, and hardworking. A special mention must also be made of Angela, Paul's daughter, an interior designer who was instrumental in offering pivotal colour advice. Her eye for design perfectly complemented Paul's craftsmanship, creating a harmonious blend of style and functionality. We can't express enough gratitude for the hard work and passion that went into this project. The kitchen has not only become the centrepiece of our home, but also a conversation starter for every guest who steps inside. We still find ourselves marvelling at its beauty.
