Benchmark Restorations

We are so happy with the restoration that Gideon has just completed on our West African Ashanti Stools. He was generous with his time to explain the process and we really appreciated his knowledge and skill to tackle our project. The end result was outstanding!

Gideon Wyeth restored this desk of my father in law’s which I had believed almost un salvageable. The repairs are perfect and the finish subtle and warm in colour without looking newly polished. I couldn’t be happier. It isn’t cheap but good workmanship is worth good Money.

After much searching for the right person to restore a much loved Asian cabinet for daughter's birthday, I finally found Gideon. And we couldn't be happier. Gideon did a wonderful job, was always quick to respond, helpful and obliging. I've got other pieces lined up for him to restore next year!

5 star skills and 5 star service. Gideon took an ugly 1970s orange-brown veneered dining table back to its natural oak finish. It is brilliant. Texts and calls were returned promptly and Gideon has excellent communication skills which meant he could explain each step of the process and he consulted with me throughout the process. I would happily have him do more jobs for me.

We bought an old french armoire at auction that had wobbly doors and a broken lock. Gideon was a pleasure to deal with and fixed the doors, as well as making a new ( from old ) lock and key for us so we could close the armoire. We are very happy with the work and will happily use him again.
