Colin’s inspections are very thorough and detailed. He uses visuals and describes the issues at hand in layman, easy to understand terms, which is so helpful to me. Colin has done a few inspections for me and i am so grateful that he treats each inspection as though he was purchasing the property for himself. Colin is amazing. This is a man who truly cares about the work he does and it shines through in every interaction. His building inspection for a 1950 weatherboard left no stone unturned, literally, and included drone and robot footage. He also spent over an hour explaining faults to me and what would be the ramifications of not addressing them. He is dearer than other building inspectors, but it is small change compared to the thousands of dollars he’s saved us in future issues.

I asked Colin to help me with our pre-settlement inspection of an off-plan purchased apartment. Unfortunately we have been only allowed a 30min inspection, but Colin was very professional and because he is very experienced he knew exactly where to look. He recorded everything on camera for his detailed report that he prepared a couple of days after. On site, all defects were marked with a blue tape together with a representative of the builder for them to be rectified. I can recommend Colin! Very professional and nice guy! Thanks Colin!

After reading the countless great reviews here online, I sought Colin’s help to do a building inspection on a property that I was hoping to purchase as my first home. Not only was he extremely personable and friendly, he was highly professional too. He invited me to follow him around the house during the inspection and took the time to explain his findings in a way which was easy to understand (for someone like me who has no knowledge when it comes to this sort of thing) and also gave me some recommendations on how to follow up on anything that needed attention. His report was very comprehensive and he also provided some video footage of the property that I can look back on when I need to.
