James and the whole team from Melbourne Chippy completely overhauled our kitchen bringing it up to modern standards from what was the original 1950s separate kitchen/dining room whilst still retaining the character of space. James & his team updated our bathroom recently. From day one we were impressed, their communication was flawless. Their care for our home & execution of the work was one we couldn’t fault. They kept their workspace very clean & tidy which meant minimal disruption to the rest of our home. We thank James & his team for giving us not only a beautiful new bathroom but a pleasant experience of renovating, would certainly recommend if you are looking for excellent workmanship with clear communication.

James and his team completed all works within the expected timeframe and to a very high standard, putting care and thought into the multitude of decisions over the course of the build. I am very happy to recommend The Melbourne Chippy for your carpentry requirements. They completed the replacement of a load bearing veranda post. I thought I would have an issue getting someone to quote on this small job, however James arrived promptly to view and quote, and when we arranged a date to complete the work, his team were on time, efficient, tidy and pleasant to deal with.
