Ivers Construction built our dream home in 2022/23 and we are absolutely blown away with the finished product. The communication throughout the job was fantastic, Matt made sure we were involved in all major decision making. On several occasions Matt contacted us and ran ideas by us that he felt would make the house look/work better, there were several examples where you could see it was going to cost Matt time and money to change but he was sincerely interested in just making sure the finished product was the best it could be. Matt also saved us a couple of times from making some really bad choices, he has plenty of experience which helps a lot when you really only do this once in your life. Once the job was completed, we did have teething issues but Matt and his contractors (mostly local people that Matt has grown up with) spent as much time as was required until we were happy. Whenever we wanted to add extras to the job I never once felt like I was being ripped off or taken advantage of, Matt was fair and reasonable at all times. I highly recommend Matt and Jackie at Ivers Construction to build your new house, they are fantastic people, running a fantastic local company and we could not be happier clients.

Ivers Construction did a fantastic job managing the build and fit-out of Studio Pilates Bairnsdale. They were professional, reliable, and kept everything on track from start to finish. When we began the daunting task of searching for a builder back in 2023, we weren’t exactly sure who to entrust with the building of our future family home. We’d spent years in the planning stage and, like everyone else, wanted a build that we could be proud of for years to come. We approached Ivers Construction as we’d heard positive comments from neighbours and right from the first meeting, we felt confident that Matt, Jackie and the team were the right builders for us. There were many obstacles to overcome. Not only were we building a multilevel house, it was on a sloping block with areas subject to flooding and the existing house needed to be demolished first! We’d given Matt a pretty hefty task and initially I wasn’t sure if he’d take us on. But we needn’t be concerned. At all times throughout the build he was professional, honest and open. And the quality of the build is truly amazing. There were no short cuts. Zero. He sets the high standard that all of his team (carpenters and subcontractors) work to. I feel that not only do they get the job done right, they actually enjoy their work and are proud of the finished product.
