We have an Edwardian style home in Brighton and a local real estate agent originally recommended Gaia to us. We are so thankful for that initial recommendation as we went on to renovate and extend our home with the Gaia team and so happy with the result! Jeremy and Sue are a family run business who treated us with so much respect, courtesy and excellent service throughout the whole process. Their professionalism got the project off on the right track and it stayed that way throughout the 11 month build. This is often unheard of in the building industry! Gaia connected us with architect/designers (Ben & Ben) whom we also loved working with and as a team we were able to design and build our dream home and work together along the way to remain within our budget and our vision. Jeremy and Sue and their entire team were so lovely to work with and throughout the design and build journey we were so appreciative of the fantastic communication. We understood clearly every step of the build and frequent site meetings meant we knew how the build was progressing and could have any questions answered. They use a great platform called Buildertrend that meant every day we had updates and photos which we loved! Gaia’s lead builder Alex who worked on our home was very talented, great at managing all the trades and putting us at ease with his calm approach. Overall our new home was built on time and exceeded expectations (with glowing compliments from the neighbours, friends and family). We absolutely love the final outcome and so happy to be home enjoying our new space with our family! Highly recommend!

Gaia Constructions has exceeded our expectation in what has been our first home build and renovations. We enjoyed the project all the way through from the initial proposal through completion. The initial proposal was extremely detailed and developed in close collaboration with the architect. Gaia helped us great improving architectural designs to create more affordable solutions without sacrificing quality or design. Once we signed the building contract, Gaia worked with a software that allowed us to monitor progress and cost day by day in real time. Project management was outstanding with a supervisor / head carpenter being on site at all times. All workmen on site where friendly, respected the neighbours and by all accounts delivered quality work. We enjoyed Gaia’s focus on creating an energy efficient home with quality craftmanship. Gaia finished the renovation on time and on budget which came as a huge relief. Gaia continued to provide great service post completion, addressing minor queries quickly and efficiently. We gladly and readily recommend Gaia to everyone and especially to people like us who had never been through a renovation before and need a trusted partner.

Early October 2024, Gaia Construction completed an extensive and complex renovation of our 1901 Brighton residence. Gaia Construction prepared a well-documented and reasonably priced scope that was discussed and agreed to by both parties. We elected to use a cost-plus method of contracting subject to the standard Master Builders Victoria 'Major Domestic Building Contract'. The project was completed on time to the agreed scope and within budget. You could not ask for a more courteous and professional approach from any builder. The online 'Buildertrend' project monitoring tool used by Gaia Construction allowed us to monitor progress and we always felt in control of both scope and cost. Any important decisions or essential variations were priced and communicated in real time and no work was undertaken unless approved beforehand by us in writing. The result was extremely satisfactory and we are very happy with the project completed by Gaia Construction. Five stars!

This is the second time we have renovated with Gaia. We now have a completely new, 2nd story Edwardian Elwood 4 bedroom dream home thanks to Gaia. From design, Gaia recommended Ben & Ben who were fantastic and work really well with Gaia. The build process was explained and we used an app with daily progress and photo updates to communicate, request changes and manage the budget and time line. Our 2nd story renovation finished in budget and early! Thank you to our builder Alex, all the trades, Sue and Jeremy. I never thought we could find and afford our dream home in Elwood. Fabulous and professional service and communication throughout the build. We had an old house that we renovated. Gaia helped us navigate and find solutions to the surprises a renovation throws up. We received daily progress updates, which included photos of work done and plans for what was to come next. Gaia was pro-active in planning and ordering supplies, in order to overcome the current supply issues the building industry faces throughout Australia. We have ended up with a beautiful, quality build that we will enjoy for years to come.

At our inital meeting we were impressed with Jeremy's offering, plus the BuilderTrend software to help track all aspects of the project. Gaia connected us with designer Dale Crowhurst who clearly understood our brief and together as a team we designed our dream home, whilst keeping our budget in mind throughout the process. Entering into a contract for a house renovation can be daunting, however all our anxieties were swiftly dispelled by the support provided by Jeremy, Sue, and our designated builder, Jake. Their communciation through the process was exceptional. Gaia Constructions' uses a software program called BuilderTrend which helps keep track of all communication and documentation, including emails, meeting minutes, variations, and plans. We absolutely loved the daily updates and photographs provided by Jake each afternoon. The final result surpassed our expectations, with completion achieved six weeks ahead of schedule, within budget and more importantly – stress-free. We can't thank Jeremy, Sue and the entire Gaia Constructions team enough for building our beautiful family home. Furthermore, we received multiple comments from our neighbours when we moved back in, they all commented on Gaia's professionalism displayed by the entire team every day.
