  Without a doubt the best decision I have ever made, was to build with Wahlstedt Quality Homes. Never having owned a home before, diving head first into building a house with no knowledge was a daunting process, however Sam was absolutely amazing in not only answering my excessive amount of questions over an incredibly long period of time, he was also incredibly patient and understanding when time after time I needed to draw up a new plan to suit my changing budget. Jess was fantastic to deal with both before, during and after our selections appointment - offering very appreciated insight and suggestions during our appointment - to constantly being happy to amend selections 12 months after the fact even though it regrettably would have caused hassles. I was in a unique predicament where I was relocating overseas and tossed and turned whether to proceed with the build, and Jake from the Finance team went above and beyond in ensuring I had the most up to date information which was a great help in allowing me to make my decision. This even carried on throughout the entirety of the build whilst I was overseas, and even though it was not within his responsibilities, he regularly checked in as to whether I was receiving updates and photos etc of the build. During the actual construction I was worried about the fact I was not able to visit the site and see the progress of the build, however both Ian and Lauchlin as the Site Supervisors were always helpful with providing photos, email updates and answering my questions to put me at ease. I mentioned building with Wahlstedt was without a doubt the best decision I've ever made - this was solidified by the constant emails from both of my neighbours as well as a friend who lived in the area who would repeatedly drive by the house (and again - a huge thanks to the Site Supervisors for allowing access) - as the news was always the same - the quality is outstanding and that I've made the right decision in choosing Wahlstedt. I was finally able to see this for myself when I had my handover inspection, and was absolutely blown away with the quality of the build. Having followed along with numerous other Adelaide builder's social media pages of people who are building with those companies, I'd seen a myriad amount of things which made me fear for the worst when building a house I wasn't able to see the progress of, however it is a true testament to not only Wahlstedt, but all their trades as well who without a doubt take a tremendous amount of pride in their work, as I wasn't able to see any of the grave (or even minor) fears I held. I also need to give a huge thanks to Gary the owner, who again with the help of Jake, went above and beyond to help by agreeing to divert from their standard practice to allow my handover to take place noting I was traveling from overseas and couldn't account for an issue which popped up at the last minute - this alone proved how much they actually care about the people they're building homes for - and don't see us as just numbers. In addition to Gary, I have to thank those others in the office who worked behind the scenes in ensuring my build went so smoothly, who unfortunately do not get the credit they justly deserve. I could not recommend Wahlstedt Quality Homes enough, and if you're building on the Yorke Peninsula there is literally no builder you should be choosing besides them.

  Our build with Wahlstedt Quality Homes went completely to plan. The entire process, from registration of interest until key handover, was flawless, and very easy to navigate as a consumer. Our site manager Josh always made us feel like we were his only clients. Every detail was covered, all queries answered, we were kept updated throughout the entire process. The actual build is expert and quality. We were fortunate to have chosen WQH to build our forever retirement home, and grateful for the professionalism and attention to detail of their team.

  We used Wahlstedt homes to build our house at Wallaroo and are very happy with the result. We had a couple of bigger issues with the build which were sorted to our satisfaction thanks to Gary's involvement and with the supervision of Josh. Wahlstead rectified all minor defects within a timely fashion and the final finish exceeds our expectations. I recommend Wahlstead to anyone thinking of building as they make the building process a more enjoyable experience than expected.

  Our experience with Wahlstedt Quality Homes has been exceptional! When we started the process Covid-19 hit SA and we all know about the challenges that went with that, but credit to the team at Wahlstedt Quality Homes they somehow made the process enjoyable. During the design stages the team was always contactable and if not, they returned calls at all times. The build process was beyond anything we had previously experienced whilst building many homes over the years. We were able to work closely with all the trades throughout the build process and had one on one contact with our building supervisor at all times. The end result was a Quality built home, built by quality trade teams and managed by a team of exceptional people at Wahlstedt Quality Homes.
