I have now been in my cabin for two weeks and I am more than happy with her. Right from the first contact with Ben and Chad has been a breeze.I made a few changes and this was no problem for them .I chose a tile which was abit of a headache but they never once complained about it,( although I heard a few words where said) .The tiling is perfection .Then there was the doggy door i requested(even bigger head ache )this is something they did for me which they did not have to do. I highly recommend Grand Tiny Homes build to a high standard.

Frequently asked questions

How much do builders typically charge?
Builder costs vary widely depending on the job type and complexity. Minor repairs are generally much less than extensions, small builds or structural alterations that need foundations, framing or specialist input. Most quotes include a call‑out fee plus labour and materials, and the page shows live pricing to help you compare options.
Do builders charge call-out fees?
Call‑out fees are common and typically cover travel and an initial inspection or assessment. This fee is usually separate from hourly labour and materials, and after‑hours or weekend attendance often attracts higher rates. Ask whether a call‑out or minimum charge applies when requesting quotes.
Do builders need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Building work generally needs to be carried out by a licensed builder in every state and territory, and NSW builders are regulated by NSW Fair Trading. Builders should be able to provide their state builder/contractor licence number and show appropriate insurances and ABN/GST registration. In Victoria, domestic building insurance is required above a state threshold for certain contracts.
