I was recommended Steve Parcell Builders by a friend of mine because we were building a home on slope and Steve had a wealth of experience on delivering homes on challenging blocks. His team was professional throughout the whole process, guiding us through the design and engineering, choosing taps and tiles etc. Their approach was always not to give us what we wanted. Rather, they offered advice on what was going to achieve the best outcomes. The building process was very smooth albeit right in the midst of COVID. Handover and defects was handled quickly and professionally. It has now been a few years since completion and Steve will still send someone out to fix a door that has come off the hinges or reseal a cabinet. We have had no major issues whatsoever. Due to the diligence put into the engineering process we still don't have one crack in our house, whereas we have heard some horror stories about others that have built on slope. I wouldn't hesitate building with Steve and his team again. In fact we probably will.

We are at the end of our building journey with Steve Parcell builders and have had a faultless experience. Every single staff member we have dealt with has been professional, helpful and kind. All the tradesmen we have had throughout the project has been fantastic and we are actually finishing earlier than we anticipated. The whole process has been without delay - trades have been well timed with not a week that has gone by where the house was just sitting (except Christmas shut down of course.) We are probably paying more than if we went with a Stroud or Hallmark build, but there honestly is no substitute for quality when it comes to the contractors that Steve uses, and the custom build has been worth every penny. 5/5 stars. Steve built our home 7 years ago and it was such a no hassle experience. If we needed something moved added or changed it was no trouble. The building manager was so approachable. We have just sold it and are about to build again with Steve, and the quality was what helped us to sell in 3 weeks of listing the house for sale. The buyers couldn’t stop commenting on the quality of the fixtures fittings and appliances, as did the building and pest inspector. Lovely to build with and highly recommend.

Pleased to say our experience was 99% positive. Steve's team did a great job, very polite and professional with particular respect to communication. We've been in the house for two years and the only issues have been due to one sub contractors' work and one supplier. Most issues were minor and have been rectified.

Steve's team built our acreage property in New Beith and having just had our 6 monthly maintenance report we couldn't be happier. My wife and I both like the idea that no-one else has the same house as ours, being completely custom-made. This of course means a lot of decision-making, but despite being novices we were given great guidance and shown a lot of patience. The quality of the build is excellent, even my building inspector brother-in-law couldn't fault them and having seen the heartache some of my neighbours have gone through I'm really happy we haven't had to worry. During the build, there was excellent communication and I felt greatly reassured by the fact that Steve uses basically the same tradies on every job. I was able to contact them directly to discuss specifics and was allowed on site whenever I wanted.

Best builder were have come across. We built two homes with Steve and his crews and wanted to build another with him but could not because we moved to an area outside his territory. We are finding it difficult to source another builder because we trusted Steve and are worried about finding someone just as good down at the coast. The two houses Steve Parcell built for us were beautiful and served us well, sold so easily and for a good price because of the quality of them, and he is reasonably priced. Just gives that little bit extra to make sure it is a 'quality job.'
