We recently purchased a Shed/Home from Sheds n Homes in Yeppoon. They were very professional and helpful from the first visit, choosing the right house and colours to the final product. We had our little home built by Darren Simpson Construction (DSC). The product is exceptional and will outlast our lifetime. All the trades that we contracted to build (fit out) our home were also very professional and kept us informed on the progress. Loving our little home.

I love my new home from Sheds n Homes and Darren Simpson constructions. They worked hard to amend one of their standard plans to something that suited my needs, and it has turned out really well. While there were a few issues along the way I think that is to be expected with a new build, and when anything went slightly astray the great team at DSC did their best to respond and rectify it. The boys were all amazing, well mannered and they welcomed me to site every time I visited. Very, very happy with the overall process and if I ever build again DSC will be my first port of call.

I had a 6x6 shed built by Sheds & Homes Rockhampton and it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. Darren visited my residence and I received a detailed quote and assistance with colour selection from the team as needed. I had no issue with communication to or from the team and all was in a timely manner. I cannot fault the onsite build team, kept me informed of delivery arrivals, their presence on site, additional action items needed on my part and the site was kept and left clean. I’m now considering an extension and will be going back to Sheds & Homes Rockhampton when I do.

Darren and Kylie Simpson, along with their crew — Brandon Smith, Darryn Watson, and the apprentices — were professional, tidy, polite, respectful and consistently on time throughout our entire house and garage build. We experienced absolutely zero issues with any of the above team members during the full 12-month build period and would not hesitate to recommend them particularly now they have made the decision to release their previous project manager. Anne and Lance Schmidt

My previous post was not a solid description of events and now information has come to light thanks to Darren I am taking opportunity to re post . Went through the process can’t say all went smoothly like any build , mainly around sub contractors not holding up there part , out of builders control . As far as the builders team goes if there were any issues after having the conversation with Darren or Brandon things got sorted or other options explained. Contract side bank found out there was discrepancies on final invoice bank contacted DSC team which they sorted asap no questions asked . This was due to change of management around start of contract unforeseen until end of contract. In the end they did build me a 1 of a kind home which is incredible in all aspects

I had a small shed 8m installed and the experience was overall very good. I was kept upto date with the process and stages and when I had a small problem with a dent in a door, the issue was inspected quickly and a new door ordered. In my view these people are good individuals and will do the right thing.
