The short version: yes, all the positive reviews are true. The long version: we were looking at a fairly extensive extension to our home (2 additional bedrooms + living area + bath room + patio cover) and - after talking to various builders - decided to go with Kiadom. From the very first meeting Greg always explained everything in plain English and nothing was ever a problem. They have a fantastic system in place, which enables them to streamline the whole process, yet be highly flexible at the same time. What really stood out for us was the quality of the involved people/trades. Greg somehow seems to have succeeded in attracting the best in every field. The admin lady is friendly and responsive, the architect seemed to effortlessly get what we were after (and even made some great suggestions that we initially didn't know we needed) and translate it into a plan for the build, the Kiadom onsite tradies, the roofers, electricians and plumbers, all were very good to deal with. And of course Kai, the construction manager, who is just brilliant. Regardless of what the problem was, he always had a solution at the ready. And this is probably the point that - in my opinion - sets them apart from other builders I've dealt with the most: if there ever was a problem (and there were very few), Kiadom simply dealt with them straight away without any fuss. No finger pointing, no blame shifting, no attempt to get the customer to absorb the extra cost, just plain old good customer service. We felt surprisingly at ease throughout the whole process. Part owed to the aforementioned system they use, part owed to the fact that once you understand that if there ever is a problem, it will simply be dealt with. So there was nothing to worry about. As an added bonus, Kiadom give a fixed build date and a fixed price from the outset. So there are no cost overruns or unexpected delays to be concerned about. The build quality is superb, the price very competitive. In summary, we are extremely happy with the work Kiadom delivered for us and how they went about it all. This was not only a master class in how to deliver a building project, but a master class in how to run a business in general. If you are in the market for an extension or a granny flat, you would be mad not to give them a call. They really are that good. A big thank you to Greg and his team for exceeding our expectations!
