We recently had Matt complete extensive repairs and updates on our garage and front facade, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Matt and Ollie did an outstanding job, their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism were second to none. Our project included the removal of an unstable archway that joined the garage to the house. Matt not only safely removed it but meticulously repaired the cracks in the stonework so well that you wouldn’t even know the arch was ever there. The seamless blend of old and new stone is superb. Our next step is to clean and repoint the rest of the house to match the newly cleaned and repointed stonework, which we are looking at getting Matt back again to complete at a later date. Matt repaired some large cracks on the side of the garage and replaced some of the bricks. Again another job well done, and now the structure is safe and really looks great! We also had our garage door widened and heightened, the entire structure repointed, and the top section of the garage rebuilt. Matt went above and beyond to ensure the new work matched the existing architecture, and the result is a cohesive and nicely finished garage that complements our home perfectly. All our neighbours have made positive comments on the transformation as well! In consultation with Matt in the beginning phases of this project, we could see the care and passion he has for stonemasonry and ensuring the end product looks just as good, if not better then when it was originally built. From the initial quote to the final clean-up, Matt’s communication was honest, clear, and consistent. The team arrived on time each day, cleaned up thoroughly and communicated with us prior to arrival. We have worked with many trades over our 15 years of renovating of houses, and working with Matt was easy with his professionalism and his respect for the project and what we were wanting to achieve with the end product. We highly recommend Matt and the team for any stone restoration or building work. We could not be happier!

Matt recently repointed and did some masonry restoration work for us on our sandstone villa and we are so happy with the finished result. We absolutely recommend him. Matt restored my sandstone frontage on my 1930's house really well. Repointed, cleaned and line marked back to origninal appearance. Matt was very efficient and left the site clean and tidy each day. Would highly recommend Matt for this type of job.

We asked Matt to reinvigorate a tired and damaged sandstone fireplace in our 1930’s home. From the moment we contacted him, Matt was accommodating and easy to work with. His communication was excellent and prompt, but most importantly he is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. The finishing is exceptional and the whole look is better than we envisaged.
