Homestead Stonework

David constructed an excellent wall that everyone loves. The puppies and chooks use it as a short-cut; I now have ready access to the water tank. David worked within the constraints of the site and built a beautiful wall.

A highly experienced, personable and professional stonemason who delivers work to an exceptional standard. David built our retaining wall in 2023 along with a staircase to out veggie patch. This made our courtyard feel much more spacious, creating zones for our veggie patch, orchard and flower garden. It has kept water away from our house during storms and helped to retain water in the soil for longer. David arranged the stones to create flow lines and highlight the distinct grains and colour variations. A brilliant stonemason.

David did an amazing job building our retaining wall in Flynn. Its beautiful craftsmanship has added so much to our garden. We love looking out at the stonework which is a thing of beauty. The care with which the stones were placed has resulted in lovely patterns of shape and colour. David is experienced, professional and personable and I recommend him without hesitation for all your stone masonry needs.

Commencing the landscaping of our new home we reached out to Homestead Stonework for suggestions and guidance to undertake the construction of a feature stone wall. We found David to be very receptive and flexible in his approach being available when contractors were on site to assist. David sourced other materials to supplement the large stones on site and ensured all was available as the work proceeded. His communication was excellent keeping us abreast of the work and when he would proceed. Being very pleased once the project was completed, and to such a high standard by Homestead Stonework, we would have no hesitation in engaging David again should the need arise.

A brilliant artisan and craftsman - our wall and steps form the foundation of our garden. His work brings us joy every day with its exceptional beauty and design.
