Absolutely fantastic company - came a day after contacting them to remove branches from a large tree overhanging power lines. Found that they are MORE AFFORDABLE than a previous company I used last year with removal as well! The guys even raked up the loose leaves from branches in yard. Will not be going elsewhere in future - sticking with the guys at UNCHAINED! ! Thanks heaps.

Amazing experience with this tree trimming business. They were even able to come out to do same day service for two trees we needed trimmed in our front yard. They were also very reasonable with prices and cleaned everything up prior to leaving. Our yard looks like a million bucks now. I will recommend this company to others looking for these services. Thank you!

After contacting Unchained Tree Services for a quote, they came the next day, gave a very good price then trimmed my trees the day after. They are professional, neat, courteous and friendly. After the work was completed the yard was cleaned immaculately. I would only use this company in the future. Thanks

Arborist costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do arborists typically charge?
Arborist costs vary widely depending on the type and scale of work. Factors such as tree size and species, site access, whether removal and stump grinding are needed, required equipment and disposal all affect the total. Most quotes separate a call-out component from labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency jobs generally attract higher rates. The live pricing on this page shows current estimates for different job types.
Do arborists charge call-out fees?
Many arborists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, which is usually separate from labour and materials. That fee typically covers travel and the initial site inspection, and smaller or remote jobs may be subject to a minimum charge. It's worth confirming whether a call-out fee is included in any quote you receive.
When do arborists need a licence?
Arborists often need registration or specific contractor credentials for higher-risk, large-scale or regulated tree work. Where the scope overlaps with regulated building or contractor work, providers should hold a valid state contractor or builder credential and comply with local council permit requirements for protected trees. For higherโ€‘risk tasks, look for evidence of public liability insurance, documented work-at-heights controls and SWMS.
Does Unchained Tree Services have a verified ABN?
Yes. Unchained Tree Services has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
How do I get a quote from Unchained Tree Services?
Unchained Tree Services lists phone or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
