We engaged Scotty at Tree Logistics to remove a number of very large trees on our Noosa hinterland property. Scotty’s calm demeanour was extremely reassuring. We found him and his team extremely knowledgeable and professional. Some of the work on our property was quite technical and his team completed the work with great efficiency and safety. We also engaged the team on a ‘day rate’ basis over a few days and we felt the team went above and beyond and worked really hard to get as much done as possible. We felt we really got a lot of value for the price. Thank you so much.

Scotty and the team at Tree Logistics worked proficiently and methodically on my complex tree removal job. I couldn’t be happier with their service! From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, the team were professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. They tackled a large, hazardous tree near my home with precision, using their expert climbing and high access techniques, and left the site spotless. The stump grinding was done perfectly, and their onsite chipping and mulching service was a bonus. As someone who values safety and quality, I appreciated their expertise and attention to detail. Tree Logistics truly lives up to their reputation as the go to arborists in South East Queensland. Highly recommend them for any tree care needs!

Frequently asked questions

How much do arborists typically charge?
Arborist costs vary widely depending on the type and scale of work. Factors such as tree size and species, site access, whether removal and stump grinding are needed, required equipment and disposal all affect the total. Most quotes separate a call-out component from labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency jobs generally attract higher rates. The live pricing on this page shows current estimates for different job types.
Do arborists charge call-out fees?
Many arborists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, which is usually separate from labour and materials. That fee typically covers travel and the initial site inspection, and smaller or remote jobs may be subject to a minimum charge. It's worth confirming whether a call-out fee is included in any quote you receive.
When do arborists need a licence?
Arborists often need registration or specific contractor credentials for higher-risk, large-scale or regulated tree work. Where the scope overlaps with regulated building or contractor work, providers should hold a valid state contractor or builder credential and comply with local council permit requirements for protected trees. For higher‑risk tasks, look for evidence of public liability insurance, documented work-at-heights controls and SWMS.
Does Tree Logistics have a verified ABN?
Yes. Tree Logistics has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
