Owen and his team were AMAZING. They arrived with a team of men and trucks and cleared not only this dreadfully dangerous tree, (you have to actually click on the photo to see how dangerous it was - but even then, the photo does not do it justice!) but several other dangerous trees as well. What made Advance Tree Works different was there was one very complicated (and huge!) tree right at the front in a main street that the entire community enjoys, but was becoming dangerous. It was a MASSIVE gum with a strangling fig wrapped around it for probably 50 years or so. It's quite spectacular, but could be very dangerous. I got several people out and they said to kill the fig, or the gum tree might die. But I was worried because the roots are so intertwined that if we killed the fig, the gum tree would fall straight over right on top of my neighbour's house! I really wanted to save the tree (or should I say two trees wound together), but I also didn't want to be the new kid on the block that kills the neighbour! However, when Owen first came out to quote, he took a long time to really look at it, and give me all the options. We didn't need to lose either! The community can enjoy the tree for maybe hundreds of years to come. He trimmed the gum carefully, testing the major branches to ensure they're all safe, and what we wound up with was a BEAUTIFUL massive fig tree wound together with many hundreds of year's old gums...BUT IT'S SAFE! He could have just cut it down. It would have taken half the day, and more work ($$$) for him. But, instead he created quite the beauty (and saved me money at the same time!) I'm 100% sure other tree people would have cut it down, but because he took extra time, the entire Dundowran Beach community benefits from this spectacular tree being saved. THANK YOU - from all of us! These are beyond any tree people I've ever met before. He's a trained, proper arborist, with a proper team for really big and dangerous jobs. He's not some gung-ho bloke with a chainsaw, rope, a prayer and too much coffee. Tree felling is an extremely dangerous job, and as the previous Spokeswoman for the WorkCover Authority of NSW, I commend them for their high safety standards. They know their stuff! Owen, Matt and the crew provided a great service at a reasonable price. They brought in a cherry picker to trim a very overgrown callistemon which was a fire risk. Precision work, left the yard spotless, awesome equipment, and more AFFORDABLE than others. Thanks fellas!!!

Owen and his team did a wonderful job removing 3 large trees and grinding off all the old stumps from my property. Thank you Diane, Owen & all the crew from Advanced Tree Works, for organising a professional team to complete the works as quoted and assisting in our garden makeover. The entire team was efficient, friendly, helpful and professional in going above & beyond by overcoming equipment difficulties and other challenges. They even returned to follow up and got the job done. Might sound expensive to begin with, but they won’t disappoint with the end result.
