Whalen Tree services came to my house in Port Macquarie to remove several stumps from my yard along with trimming down some overgrown shrubs. One of the stumps bordered my concrete driveway and was quite large. They got rid of all the stumps without any damage to the concrete and were extremely neat. Great customer service and work!

Matt’s very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, gave us a quote the next day and exactly a week later - despite drizzly weather - job was completely finished! Our backyard has terraces, steps and narrow access and Matt and his team did an amazing job - in only a day and a half - of taking down two very large trees and a number of smaller trees, cleaning up as they worked, leaving our backyard looking fresh and clean! Totally professional. We’ve engaged Whalen Tree Service on three occasions so far and will continue due to their reliability and professionalism. First time, they removed some palms for us at a rental property and they managed it all without any hassles - strata manager, all tenants, and our neighbour to coordinate fence removal and replacement to do the job. Great job and great clean up. Next used to take down a huge messy cotton palm in our yard, and again did without any issues, two of them working in the heat without a grumble. Third time they’ve just removed and ground down a large stump in a really tricky location - fences, slope, steps to get to it and Matthew did it in a morning without any problem using smaller machine and cleaned up beautifully. They’re great at responding promptly, they turn up on time, and they know their stuff. Matt is so lovely to deal with and we’ll continue to use them because we know we can trust them with the job even if we’re not present. Great local tradies we’re happy to recommend. Matt and the team are very professional, helpful, courteous, and certainly know what they are doing. All precautions were taken in the removal of two tree located very close to my house and putting pressure on my water tank.
