When it came to tackling the leaning big gum tree in our backyard we knew we needed pros we could trust. We reached out to Friendly Fred’s Tree Services, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our property. From the very first contact, everything about their service stood out. Shane, the arborist who handled our job, arrived on time for the quote with a friendly smile and a genuine sense of professionalism. What impressed us most? He didn’t just glance at the trees and blurt out a price. Instead, he took the time to walk us through his entire plan, explaining exactly how he’d safely remove the massive gum tree and prune other large gum tree as some large branches were posing risk . No upselling, no pressure—just honest, expert advice and very fair price. On the day of the job, Shane team showed up ready to work, fully equipped and clearly experienced. The removal was executed with precision and care. Mulching was done on-site as we had requested , yard was cleaned of debries . For the pruning, they removed those braches that posed a risk , they also removed some deadwood from other trees , enhancing airflow without sacrificing its natural form. For the level of service and expertise we received the price was very fair. But more than the clean cuts and tidy cleanup, it was Shane’s attitude that sealed the deal. Knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely proud of his craft—he’s absolutely top bloke material. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in every detail. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and downright friendly team for any tree service—big removals, delicate pruning, mulching - you name it—call Friendly Fred’s Tree Services without hesitation. Highly, wholeheartedly recommended. You won’t be disappointed.

In a rental property and with large tree covering the front yard and lawn plus a very tall coco palm covered in pods and too high to reach Fred's took the call. Previously used Fred's services in two other properties. Date and time arranged and they arrived on time and were straight into the job. Darren and the guys split the two jobs and frankly ripped through it in very quick time. Front tree was felled, shredded, stump ground and yard and road swept very clean in under 20 minutes. Palm was climbed and safely trimmed with all pods, fronds, bits also shredded, yard left clear and tidy and all green waste removed. Fred's has always been excellent and extremely great value in a competitive market. Awesome job, Thank You.

I have used Friendly Fred's for over 10 years for all my tree needs. I cannot rate these guys highly enough. I wish there were more stars to give. They helped me out last year when I was having trouble with a tree that was too close to my roof and causing damage.. I can't say what you guys did, as I don't want to advertise you as a charity. A man is worth his wages. You guys are gold for what you did for me. My name is Michelle. And I'm from kearns. I'm sure you guys can look me up and remember what you did for me. I will always call you guys for further tree work when I need it and highly recommend you to all. Thanks guys. What you did was highly appreciated, more than you know 🙏
