The boys from Arbor Co Tree Services arrived on time and got straight to work. They were super polite, really careful with the surrounding vegetation, and had the job done quickly. Harrison the owner of the business wasn’t there on the day, but communication beforehand was great and everything ran smoothly. I’ll definitely use them again and would happily recommend them.

So reassuring to have a big project handled by such complete professionals - from the first meeting with Harrison and the quote arriving 30 minutes later, through to preparing the site 2 days before and working within the Council's guidelines. There are a few cowboys in this industry - these people are the exact opposite: highly skilled, efficient, careful, properly equipped, focused on safety and customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!

We’ve used Arbor co multiple times and have always been stoked with the results. Harrison and the team are great to deal with, professional, efficient and very fair in their quoting. We’ve used them to both remove multiple trees and it’s always worked so smoothly. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Arborist costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do arborists typically charge?
Arborist costs vary widely depending on the type and scale of work. Factors such as tree size and species, site access, whether removal and stump grinding are needed, required equipment and disposal all affect the total. Most quotes separate a call-out component from labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency jobs generally attract higher rates. The live pricing on this page shows current estimates for different job types.
Do arborists charge call-out fees?
Many arborists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, which is usually separate from labour and materials. That fee typically covers travel and the initial site inspection, and smaller or remote jobs may be subject to a minimum charge. It's worth confirming whether a call-out fee is included in any quote you receive.
When do arborists need a licence?
Arborists often need registration or specific contractor credentials for higher-risk, large-scale or regulated tree work. Where the scope overlaps with regulated building or contractor work, providers should hold a valid state contractor or builder credential and comply with local council permit requirements for protected trees. For higher‑risk tasks, look for evidence of public liability insurance, documented work-at-heights controls and SWMS.
Does Arbor Co Tree Services have a verified ABN?
Yes. Arbor Co Tree Services has completed ABN verification on SureQuote.
