Tree review Having recently moved to Bonny Hills I was keen to change my back garden from a tropical oasis to a native Australia garden to encourage more bird life. I contacted AllOneArb via their webpage enquiry late one evening and was promptly contacted the very next morning. They attended to assess the work required and provided a very reasonable quote to remove 8 large stands of unwanted palms and to grind the stumps. It was amazing to watch the team work together in sync. They were very careful to leave no damage or debris in my yard and beautifully restored the garden bed ready for re-planting. I will definitely engage them when I start my front yard project. Thanks Team

Really easy to deal with. Came out to quote the job straight away. Showed up bright and early on the day, got straight into it, and worked quickly and efficiently. Cleaned everything up properly and took all the rubbish with them before leaving. Couldn’t recommend them more. Great bunch of blokes.

Unbelievable service and very efficient. We had a tree down in the back yard after the recent wild weather. Mitch came round at the drop of a hat to sort it out. Thanks Mitch, very highly recommended.

Arborist costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do arborists typically charge?
Arborist costs vary widely depending on the type and scale of work. Factors such as tree size and species, site access, whether removal and stump grinding are needed, required equipment and disposal all affect the total. Most quotes separate a call-out component from labour and materials, and after-hours or emergency jobs generally attract higher rates. The live pricing on this page shows current estimates for different job types.
Do arborists charge call-out fees?
Many arborists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, which is usually separate from labour and materials. That fee typically covers travel and the initial site inspection, and smaller or remote jobs may be subject to a minimum charge. It's worth confirming whether a call-out fee is included in any quote you receive.
When do arborists need a licence?
Arborists often need registration or specific contractor credentials for higher-risk, large-scale or regulated tree work. Where the scope overlaps with regulated building or contractor work, providers should hold a valid state contractor or builder credential and comply with local council permit requirements for protected trees. For higher‑risk tasks, look for evidence of public liability insurance, documented work-at-heights controls and SWMS.
