First, we engaged them to clear vegetation around power lines responding to an Evoenergy Network Protection Notice, and while Brent was visiting to quote on that job, he also provided a quote to remove a very large 14+ metre dead gumtree for a good price. It's rare to find a tradesman that are as easy to get on with as Brent is. His team were fantastic, very professional, did what they set out to do, and left the site tidy at the end. No judgment, no pressure, sound advice, good, prompt communication, and fair prices. Now that's all sorted that's one less headache to worry about. I hired CBR Trees to remove some trees from my yard, and was VERY impressed by their service. Brent Gillies has been an arborist for 20 years, and his professionalism shows. I was impressed by all aspect of Brent's service, all the way from his competitive quote, right through to the completion of the job. Brent and his team of two workers arrived at midday to fell six large trees in the front yard. I was very impressed by how skilfully and efficiently they dismantled the trees. All green waste was fed into a brand new, state-of-the-art woodchipper. I was interested to learn that Brent had recently purchased this machinery, and that today was the first day he was using this mulcher. To cap things off, I discussed a last-minute addition to the job that was not part of our original agreement. We have a large tree in our backyard that I recently noticed is growing close to the power lines. Brent agreed to tackle this project while he was on the site. He gave the tree a significant 'haircut', with the tree no no longer being a concern from an EVO Energy perspective. All of this was done with a friendly, upbeat style, and a 'can-do' attitude. I highly recommend CBR Trees to anyone needing tree-work done in their Canberra yard. In fact, our neighbours were so impressed by Brent's work that they were noting down his contact details for their own tree-trimming projects. A good decision!

Brent had the best quote, and he and his crew arrived right on time to remove a tree that was pushing over our fence. He trimmed several large overhanging branches from our driveway from our ornamental pear tree, which has previously dropped limbs after heavy rain. They wasted no time and took and chipped all of the branches. They were meticulous when walking around my garden, taking care not to damage my solar path lights. I could not recommend them highly enough-- 6 STARS if I could. Friendly, courteous, professional, timely and value for money. Thankyou!

CBR Trees removed a large tree for us and we are very impressed with the professsional service they provided. They were easy to deal with and took out the tree when we were away on holidays.
